About Me

Hello! my name is Lizzie Labuda, I am originally from Chicago but I came to Boulder because I love the mountains (and I am sick of the midwest winters).  I am a Junior at the University of Colorado-Boulder, majoring in Art Practices and minoring in both Media Studies and Education. I am very passionate about the fields of interior design and Art Therapy to take my educations towards to. I’ve practiced art for many years and for the last four years I have been hired as a contracted artist creating custom canvases for client homes. My most experienced mediums are painting and print making. I have won numerous awards with those mediums such as, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards 2020 - Silver Key Scholarship and two Honorable Mentions and the Elmhurst College Art Exhibition - Certificate of Merit in 2019 and 2020. Within the last year, I have recently started learning the wonderful world of digital art. I have learned to love photoshop, and I enjoy creating abstract pop art collages on Adobe photoshop. I am excited to display and show my future works for all to see!
